On 19th April I took the day off work. I made a 240 mile round trip to London and stood in line outside Waterstones Piccadilly for three hours, most of it in driving rain...
I mentally gave myself a good talking to when I started to "well up" in the queue and I somehow got past my nervousness to have a conversation with Olivia Newton-John!
...And you know what? It was all absolutely worth it to meet someone who has been one of my idols and inspirations since Junior School. Olivia was there to sign copies of her book "LivWise" (with all proceeds going to charity) and she was every bit as lovely, kind and beautiful as you'd imagine.
I still can't believe that this is something that actually happened. I keep looking at these pictures and thinking that it's not real...!
